Gospel Hope Secured - Third Sunday of Easter

We are a people who forget—to pray, to hope, even to recognize Christ at work among us. Yet on the road to Emmaus, Jesus draws near to discouraged disciples, restoring them through the Scriptures and revealing himself in the breaking of bread. In Word and Sacrament, he still meets us, reminding us who he is and anchoring our hope in his death and resurrection.
